What is InterChat?
InterChat is a powerful and customizable Discord bot that lets you to create “hubs” or groups where messages sent in a designated channel are broadcasted to other servers within the hub. Whether you want to connect multiple servers under one community or build a network for people with shared interests, InterChat gives you the tools to make it happen.
Key Features
- Cross-Server Messaging: InterChat broadcasts messages to all connected servers within a hub, creating a seamless conversation experience across Discord communities.
- Moderation Tools: Equipped with a comprehensive infraction system, InterChat helps keep conversations respectful and aligns with each hub’s specific rules.
- Customizable Word Filters: Server moderators can block specific words or patterns (with support for both regular expressions and simple word lists) to ensure safe and relevant conversations.
- User-Friendly Interface: InterChat offers a straightforward setup process and can be easily managed through Discord’s intuitive UI, making it accessible for users of all technical levels.
Premium Features (Not yet available)
For users looking to get even more out of InterChat, a premium version offers enhanced capabilities:
- Multiple Block Lists per Hub: Premium users can maintain up to three separate word filter lists per hub.
- Extended Infraction Management: Enhanced insights into user history with additional infraction tracking tools.
Getting Started
If you’re new to InterChat, follow these steps:
- Invite InterChat to Your Server: You’ll need server management permissions to set up InterChat. Invite the bot to your server by clicking here.
- Create or Join a Hub: Connect your server to an existing hub (
/hub join
) or create a new one (/hub create
) to start sharing messages across communities. - Customize Settings: Adjust moderation settings, configure word filters, and manage users to align InterChat with your server’s rules. (
